Dr. Joseph earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Honors. He then attended Rutgers University – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree while graduating as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During medical school, he also served as a student representative on the RWJMS Admissions Committee.

Dr. Joseph completed his Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at the internationally respected University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he trained extensively in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery under many of the field’s most renowned surgeons. Throughout residency, he managed complex surgical cases while also serving as Chief Resident from 2020–2021 and Chair of Social Media for the Department of Plastic Surgery. He is formally certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery.

  • June 2011 – August 2011
  • Selected as 1 of only 60 students from more than 600 applicants nationwide, Dr. Joseph conducted research within the Department of Pathology’s Cytogenetics Laboratory under Drs. Suresh Jhanwar and Xiaoliang Xu, focusing on cancer cell proliferation and retinoid receptor biology.
